Even though this is the fastest, shiniest version of this game, I prefer the aesthetics of the PS2 port. Card balance here is a bit better, with some of the weaker spells given a boost in the form of adding a free card draw which helps to speed up the game. Team battles allow you to interact with your partner's territories, drastically improving those sections of the game. Getting warped is unfortunately still just as bad and often run-ending.

Hopefully someone releases a fan translation of this someday to make it more accessible; trying to keep up with a text heavy game in a foreign language at speedrun pace is definitely challenging and execution errors started to creep in towards the end because of it.

A solid, satisfying run. No idea how fast this version can be, but there is room for improvement should someone else decide to tackle this down the road.
