Are there any rules prohibiting the use of Steam's proprietary Controller Configuration Layout Tool to alter button mappings to facilitate certain inputs during a speedrun? For example remapping R2 to L2 so speed shoes doesn't inhibit using R1 to initiate a slide, or for instance mapping triangle as circle so you could theoretically slide across the buttons consecutively Triangle-Square-X to initiate a slide spin jump to start hobslide chains. Or whatever the mappings would be for different brands/types controllers.
TIA for any replies. -Us3rnameTak3n
As of February 20th, 2025, due to Twitch imposing a 100 hour limit of highlights per channel, and the increased possibility of runs being lost in the future as a result, Twitch highlights are no longer accepted as proof for submissions.
