An Introduction to Interruptions

In general

- Every popup and menu with choices to select can be buffered

	- On keyboard, the only key that can be used for popup confirmation is the alphanumeric enter key. Ten-key-enter does not work.

Common behaviour to all hacks

After first hack failure on save file

	- 1 popup

		- Confirm

After every fifth hack failure in a row (until disabled)

	- 1 popup

		- No, Ask Later/No, Don't Ask Again/Yes, Use Invincibility choice, default "No, Ask Later"

	NOTE: buffering this popup will tick down to "No, Don't Ask Again" on the first frame, then after a brief pause, will go down to "Yes, Use Invincibility"

Augments

After fade to white

	- 2 to skip (cutscene, dialogue)

		- Hold to skip both

	- 2 popups (in most cases)

		- Confirm

		- Yes/No choice, default "Yes"

	NOTE: Zorlon Shot has only 1 popup (Confirm).

Biohacks

After completing first biohack

	- 1 to skip (dialogue)

		- Hold to skip dialogue

	- 2 popups

		- Confirm

		- Yes/No choice, default "Yes"

After completing all subsequent biohacks

	- 1 popup

		- Yes/No choice, default "Yes"

Sync Station

Save popup

	- 1 popup 

		- Yes/No choice, default "Yes"

Boss fights (exceptions noted)

After entering room, wait until fade-in is finished

	- 1 to skip (dialogue)

		- Hold to skip dialogue

	- SEVERE THREAT APPROACHING

		- Unskippable

	NOTE: Before Malorie Foster, there are five interruptions to be skipped, one hold to skip all five.

After fight, after fade-in from white

	- 1 to skip (dialogue)

		- Hold to skip dialogue

	NOTE 1: After Burning Sentinel there is an additional map-update popup (Yes/No choice, default "Yes").

	NOTE 2: After Malorie Foster, there are four interruptions to be skipped, with three holds to skip them. Specific break points between holds are mentioned in the full-game list.
