It took me way longer than it should have to realize that you actually have a little punch glove arm to attack the sea creatures. Each time I played this it felt like I died to something avoidable and annoying, which probably means I am likely just bad at it. There is also something a bit wonky about the Life counter, you get +1 Life at the bottom of each level, but then it gets taken away from you at the Top of the next level, and you sometimes get it back mid-level.
