As the name implies, I'd like to suggest that we make a new category for this called All Courses, which would involve going through all of the courses, aside from Dark until that gets its full 18 holes. I do like having all of the courses as individual runs, but I think a long run such as All Courses would be more fun and more competitive than just each course on its own.
I would definitely enjoy doing an all courses run, but I never added it cos I didn't think anyone would run it xD Might be easier to wait for Dark to be finished, cos on the Trello, it's listed as 'Next up in development' https://trello.com/c/46KmUO37/575-map-minigolf-dark-part-2 If I don't see any progress to it, I'll consider adding the category.
Sounds good. I did do a proof of concept run yesterday, and even with just the 10 courses right now, excluding Dark, it still took me just over 2 hours lmao. Doesn't help I was half-assing it though
Ok, on the Trello, the 2nd half of Dark has been pushed back, so I've added All Maps. The all maps run won't include Dark until they release all 18 holes, and all runs before then will become obsolete. Lemme know if u want me to verify your all maps run, or if u wanna attempt another one for a better time.
If you could go ahead and verify that one, that would be nice. Runs of it will probably be few and far between, tbh. We should probably also add in something to the rules defining when you can change maps, be it directly after you sink the last shot, or once the page of maps shows up.
If you wanna do an all maps run, don't play Dark. Once they finally release the rest of the rest of the map, I'll archive the old runs and new runs will include Dark.
To rephrase: Is it legal to sink hole 18 on Course 1, then immediately hit ESC > disconnect > start a new solo server on Course 2, and play through? Or is it necessary to complete hole 18 on Course 1, then wait for the course select to show up, select Course 2, and play through?
Yeah that's fine. Once u finish the last hole you can quit and then load up the next map. That's what people do in all maps for ballrace too.
