why do i alot off the time kill palpatine but the conquest does not end? Edit: he does not die meaning he some how escaped??????

First, definitely make sure it's one of the conquests where killing Palpatine is a win condition. If it shows that he died on the battle results screen, you're good.

Sometimes, there are a bunch of mission holocron messages waiting and the final cutscene won't play until they are displayed. Click the mission holocron button (the one above the fast forward button) a bunch of times to skip through these fast and the final cutscene will play. You can do this even faster if you disable "allow random events" in the game's advanced options.

here palpathine was on the planet but did not die. Did he retreat? Even to im in orbit?

Yeah what the heck?? I've never seen that before and I don't know why the game allows that. @TedGN , @Eu4zebo have you guys come across this in your runs?

@Winslinator Yes, it happens to me if you set auto-resolve to always instead of ask on this galactic conquest. The emperor retreats on the first battle if it is set to always. I have no idea why that influences battle results, but it does.

guess its more micro which is fun
