Level leaderboard

Would it be possible to add a level leaderboard with all the fights in the story mode? I think it would be cool

It would be great for new runners as a tutorial for the main categories, I agree it would be cool

I think a leaderboard for each individual level would be a bit much, I think it would be better to have an individual Saga leaderboard (Saiyan saga, frieza saga, etc.)

Chicago, IL, USA

I also think saga leaderboards is a cool idea, but I really do want individual level rankings as well. I dunno if it gets messy with too many things cluttering the actual website or stuff like that, but if it makes things bad that's totally fair. I know of a few cool tricks and skips that aren't super viable in runs since they tend to waste a lot of time if it doesn't go well. With individual levels you could go for the high risk stuff without tossing a good pace, plus it could give us crazy fast theoretical best times adding together the IL records and accounting for menuing.

I don't know if that's a good idea.. I say that because the tournaments are almost like you said, and a lot of people in two or three weeks have got annoyed of the tournaments (sorry for my bad english)

I like the idea, it would be a good training for people who are just starting out.

It's up to the mods, I have no issue having something like that. Also if a beginner is having trouble with a stage they could see some of the optimal strategies. I think honestly if it's in the category extensions part (like tournaments are) it isn't too big of a deal.

I also agree They are very fond of the idea as many claim that it would help and attract new runners Since you don't need to go through all the sagas at once Because many who are starting out have problems like RNG or stages So it is necessary to create strategies to pass such a saga

Yo we should still do this

Chicago, IL, USA

yeah i def wanna start doing individual levels now so we dont have to deal with a good run dying to a brutal ai vanishing gut punch into cutscene super

Clackmannan, Scotland

hell I might even get back into it doing this

Ok, so now that levels is out how do you guys think we should time it?

I think we should start timer after the loading screen fades to black (as soon as the screen is fully black timer starts) and end timer on KO like the actual run.

Also, based on that timing strategy, don't you guys think we can combine the PS2/Wii leaderboards at least? Maybe even emulator, but the problem with emulator is that a lot of moves that lag on console don't really lag on emulator. Lmk what you guys think.

I think with wii and PS2 it could even. but the emulator would be a problem because of the 60fps and PS2 has one of the worst fps

It would be fun if wii/ps2 and emulator are combined even if it’s not totally fair, because we don’t have that many players and it would be boring if there’s only like 1-3 runs each level idk. But yeah there’s no perfect solution I guess...

IMO we 100% combine wii/ps2 but just have it say Wii or PS2 on the side, then give emulator a seperate leaderboard.

Also for some stages we should have seperate leaderboard for different versions of the game (like for Ultimate Decisive Battle, Frieza's Ultimate Transformation, Vegeta's Curiousity, and Strongest vs. Strongest you do more damage on the Japanese version and for Conclusion you do more damage on the USA version)

i didnt know about those regional differences, but for timing i think we could do it on the "ready..." that happens before the "fight!" that way it skips the loading and cutscene but also you can start the timer and still get into a good position. its also kinda technically when you first gain control of your character since the pre round movement is involved

These damage changes for some reason only happen on ps2! So I would think better Just separate the Regions in this version because wii Version doesn't have this kind of problem
