so i wanna run this but i don't know where to find notes and/or guide for the run. Anyone mind giving me a helping hand?

I have a few guides but they are all slightly outdated, I can make another one if you want for the updated route, but in doing so I would like to know if you are doing PS2 or xBox so I can give you the fastest for the version. xBox has a few slight changes that only save maybe a second or two, but it changes some things slightly.

Also, have you watched runs of the game? They generally follow the basic path and should give you a fair idea of what you need.

Nice guide. I was wondering if you could explain what is this Jump skip you do on Skeletal Diver (and further on to go to Cordova Town) on the XBOX run :)

I'm working on a video to explain the 3 tricks done in the fastest any% route, which is different from that guide (so I need to update that again...); however, I have to edit the video to have text explanations because my mic is terrible.

The trick itself is pretty easy to perform, you just need to have an Axe Sub-Class weapon equipped (i.e. Bullova) then do a jump, after that attack, then quickly pause the game, go to the equip menu and change your weapon either to something else and back to your axe or directly to a copy of the same weapon, unpause the game, attack, quickly pause the game again... repeat until you have the desired height (Note: many rooms have ceilings that can't be clipped through).

But the way the trick is done in any% has more nuance to it, and I think will be better explained with visuals. is my explanation of the tricks
