I wanna try and bring back recapping the year on speedrun.com, but unlike 2021 (the last time I did this), I don’t really have an idea of where to start. Could y’all tell me notable things that happened in 2023 on src?

I would really have to say that the SM64 WR was something else. And, @Akuretaki getting 10,000 WR's was amazing and @VyPr interviewing him was amazing right there. Congratulations to both players.

@RaggedDan I remember Merl_ making a list like that last year. Didn't think that he would do it this year. Holy fuck that is unbelievable how much detail that goes in. There would be too many things in there that I would have had to not include in the final cut.
