In my experience burned discs aren't faster than normal discs as long as you're still using the PS2 laser to read the disc like normal
But we'd probably have to see if it's faster with a video of you playing it on the burned copy. If you can post a video of you doing run we can compare the loads and decide from there.
I wish I saw this post earlier, IMO Any way that you can play the game, while the iso itself being unmodded, should be legal. In some instances like the HD runs and some PS2 runs downloaded ISOs were used so that load times could be faster.
A burned disc sounds completely acceptable.
Down the line as the hardware and games get rarer and more expensive, I'd rather have as many options to have people running the game as possible <3
Yeah I agree. I'm pretty sure burned disc doesn't have any advantage, but would be nice to know before confirming it's cool to run on
