I did a few any% runs and found it a little lacking, obviously a category where you collect all artifacts and puzzle pieces would be way more interesting. I was wondering everyone’s thoughts on a 100% category (by the game’s standards, separate from trophies) that would classify as completing the Labo room 100%? There’s a lot of trophies and it would be quite a nice middle ground between any% and all trophies%.
Yeah I agree with you. It would be a pain to find an optimized route but interesting to run.
Thanks for adding it. I started doing a little routing for it today. It got me thinking too, the timing can’t stop in the 100% category when we defeat t-rex since we don’t get the ps5 artifacts until after the credits, so we would need to end the timer upon either grabbing the final ps5 artifact OR some other scene like when the Labo room shows the message that we have collected all puzzles/artifacts (i think this would be the better option for ending the timer)
I'll tack on to this. I would propose a category that includes all collectables MINUS the Labo Room. 104/142 obstacles are found outside, so it could be called "73.2%" or something like that. Time would stop after collecting the PS5. This just cuts out all the annoying coin farming.
I think "16 Crowns" (and "17 Crowns") is a better name than the percentages. The percentages just sound weird in conversation. The crowns aren't an immediately obvious meaning either, but they at least reflect something actually in the game (a crown appears on the map when you've collected all the artifacts/puzzle pieces in a level).

I think that in level leaderboards they should also have ssd speedway, memory meadow, cooling springs and GPU Jungle (I'm just saying because I would definitely do the runs if it's not that popular then it doesn't need to be a thing
