I've been thinking about this, what if we had a category for putting out all the fires and winning? It's only slightly longer but more difficult
Death would be required for many of the levels. I believe you need to die 7 times in order to win.
Each individual flame only needs to be put out once. Since you can move the crate as you are dying, this means on most levels you only need 1 death or less just by jumping in the fire and scooting along until you put out the whole pit and die. Then the level would reset, but you don't need to put out those flames anymore. It only adds a small amount of time but for some levels, it's slightly more challenging.
Look, I understand the concept. It sounds very nice and can add a challenge. But in all honesty, it wouldn't succeed as a category since it adds way more strategies and would tire the community. I do love the idea of a category involving fire and having to die.
A new route / percent would be so fun. Especially a meme run. How about you have to burn every crate or something?
Well, if you insist on a category which involves fire, how about one which requires you to die in a fire in each level (if it contains fire of course). You die once, then do the level normally. I feel it might be more fun to run than having to put out every fire (given it returns on death). Burning every crate is also not possible, regarding the levels design.
Wish level design would allow the original fire%. But having to die and continue running would be a perfect mémé
I added a new category for fire (under misc categories). Have fun with it! Tell me if there are any issues.
I created a modified version of the game:
where you have the following new features:
- Level timer: there is a new timer that tracks time for individual levels, and resets when a new level is loaded. This timer shows on normal mode
