i am requesting for a new category called intended and 2 sub - categories, intended ABH/AFH (basically beat the game as intended but abh and afh are allowed) and intended glitchless (beat the game as intended with no glitches)
rules would be: you must follow the intended route no external commands all keys must be binded to their defaults (unless your doing intended ABH/AFH in which you are allowed to bind your jump key) no portal peaking no portals out of bounds no going to out of bounds
if you are reading this mods, pls add this category
you must follow the intended route What even is the intended route?
all keys must be binded to their defaults Why?
Anyway, this would probably belong to the category extensions.
rules would be: wtf is the intended route why stop bad category dont request this bad cat again its shit
if you are reading this mods, pls never add this category.
"abh and afh are allowed" bruh ABH/AFH are not intended so this would make the category pointless under that ruleset.
this is like glitchless if you couldn't do shit with the game and if the community never found optimizations or tech
they even said they werent planning on adding an intended category, so this wouldnt make it to the categories anyway
Once again, I request you guys to move these kind of suggestions to the category request thread on the Category Extensions, since it is almost certain that there will not be a new main category any time, soon. We appreaciate the ideas given, but they must be placed in the place they were intended to be.
Here is the thread: https://www.speedrun.com/portal_category_extensions/thread/3tiqf Rules for the category request can be found here: https://www.speedrun.com/portal_category_extensions/thread/zzd25
Thanks.
Starting now and currently being grandfathered, all console runs will be manually retimed with load times removed. This process will be redone by the verification team anyway, so don't worry about doing it yourself when submitting. Massive shoutouts to Tactix1 for doing this basically single handedl
