Just having the first three Worlds makes the variety small. Let's add the other 4 worlds.
Do you think we should just remove all of the any% runs and only have a board for the now full game? I'm not particularly attached to my 1.0 run, and I can't imagine many people will run it, especially since its basically impossible to downpatch on non-emulator.
If someone does a full 7 world run, I'll update the leaderboard for it.
I think we can start by putting the 4 remaining worlds levels for IL. Then, when someone does a full Any% run, we can update the Full-Game Leaderboard.
I also wanted to add that we can make three categories for when your run ends in Any%. Those three being World 3, World 5, and Full-Game. They can be done on the latest version. It's like how The Messenger separates the 8-Bit section as it's own category from the Any%.
If we were to use emulation, we have to be sure that the emulator being use doesn't give an unfair advantage compare to the average Android.
Guess it makes sense. That would mean runs on older versions would have to be done on an android or emulator.
That would be fine, but what about any%? Do we just get the cutscenes out of the way and then reset the level to get a time without cutscenes or would any% require a external timer?
I'm talking about cutscenes that make you go to certain areas like the 2-H bot cutscene. It would be faster to quit out of the level then play the level again to get a better IGT.
So, IGT or External timer for Any%. I'm feeling External because if you die in your IGT only run, then that would mean it's no longer a single-segment run.
So, by IGT in any%, what type of rule would you use to disqualify a run for being submitted?
