so idk if this is already a thing or not but about 3 years ago when jonocrome or made a commentary on RS1 he said that he programmed the hall pass wrong because it sticks out of the locker and he said you can grab it without having to open the locker (and making a cheesy speed run joke) as far as i know this hasn't really been used in speed runs it is pretty easy to do when playing through the game normal but when you are beating the game in seconds its really hard to do i did 100 runs were i picked up the hall pass without opening the locker and got it 9 times so it is pretty hard (also probably me not being super good at RS1 speed running) but it does save some time idk if its worth the time save since i only got it 9% of the time but idk im not great at this game so i will let the 20 runners better than me decide if its worth it or not.
if you double click, you pretty much negate the time save it gives you
You don't have to wait for the full locker opening animation, you can just grab the pass and go, A double click saves all the same time as grabbing outside the locker does, from my experience.
thats were your wrong
the stick out hit box is more toward s the left and ms. copheys room meaning u save time by having to move ur mouse left and personal that time practically doesn't matter but u have to wait for the animation practically so over all ur saving half a second
If you're moving your mouse THAT slow for it to make a real difference, then you're having bigger problems. You DON'T have to wait for the animation either, so the Time save for me appears Negated
Besides, You asked for advice and thoughts on if it was worth it, I gave you an answer, and THEN you start telling me why I'm wrong? what was the point in the first place?
