Some changes to the categories

The web version and the "pc" version have now been separated into different platforms. Playing the downloaded file of the game on Adobe Flash Player is allowed, so cutscene skipping is now a thing, but only on PC.

This means that anyone can compete on equal ground as long as they use the same platform.

This obviously means that the PC version is much faster. Consider it the strictly Any% category and the Web version as the traditional category.

I also updated the rules after the change, so check that out. It's still basically the same, I just added a few notes.

uhm... what If I use the skip on web

Mexico

It doesn't seem to be possible to use the skip on the web version, only on the .swf version. But if for some reason you could perform the skip on web, just don't. The thing is that even if you can skip them on web for some strange reason, most people can't. So to keep the playing field even for everyone it's better to just allow cutscene skips on the PC version. That's why PC version is basically Any% and Web is the traditional version.

works on this site: http://www.puffgames.com/virtualpolice/

Maybe you wanna call the 2 categories "Glitchless" and "Animation glitch" (or you can choose a better name xD) or maybe you wanna ban the use of the glitch.

Playing on the downloaded swf might be the only way in the future when flash will be dead.

Yeah, more than anything it's that I wanna split the any% from the glitchless. Interesting that that site works though lol. I've updated the rules to minimize confusion. In the future when flash is completely dead and the only way to play is offline then the categories will simply be Any% and Glitchless.
