Since the new update, apparently the glitch where your surroundings turn white and you walk up onto one of the latest area of this dlc is kind of not working.
I say kind of not working because AnthonyCaliber found a way to work. If you ever close down the game, it won't work anymore, you will fall through the floor. But, if you reinstall the game and don't close it, it will work. We don't know why or how, but it's a small bypass to get it working.
Have fun running!
After reinstalling the game, do you have to start the game on the newest patch or without it?
I haven't gotten the glitch to work on 1.00. And if it did work, the final fight acts like the PS3 version a little and Ellie becomes invisible and the enemies don't spawn in for final fight Pt. 2. Basically a clusterfuck. Un-runnable.
Is this an ongoing problem? I want to pick this run up, and I think I've kind got the hang of the first OoB (took me a few minutes to realise Thrillness has default stick settings in his tutorial, I have vertical inverted). Can the fully glitched run still be done?
I got the glitch to work, but the area loads back in after about 10 seconds (in AnthonyCaliber's run, the area is despawned for close to a minute). Am I doing something wrong, or is this the very problem being described?
You need to pause for a brief moment when your camera goes through the wall, this buffers the loads and makes it load extremely slow, if it still isnt working it could be a problem with the thing mentioned above, but that seems to not be an issue anymore (i think).
Been doing the pause thing (AnthonyCaliber pauses for like not even half a second, I notice) and it doesn't help :(
I was able to get the area to despawn for longer -- seems I was not pausing quickly enough (gotta do it really fast). Now I just gotta learn where to go :D
An addition to the rules for All Collectibles: From now on, players must show the collectible count at the beginning (being empty) and end of a run (showing 14/14). This is necessary to verify runs and also makes it harder to fake runs.
