Should I try to speedrun even though I'm on console

There's other people who do console speedruns, so give it a go! Speedrunning Hitman is fun!

I'd say go for it, there are some strats that are much harder on console than PC and your aim will be hampered obviously by the joystick aim. But it's still fun. What console are you playing on?

The cold hard truth is this game is hard as hell on console and you will have to work hard to compete at the highest level, but I think it's still absolutely worth the experience. Hitman is a fantastic game to speedrun and there's so much to be gained from it. Wishing you the best.

The game is not hard on console, I would know because I play exclusively on console, it's easier to aim, for tricks like the bomb launch it's harder, but the good outweighs the bad.

I mean, different strokes for different folks. I'm just speaking as someone who has speedrun Hitman extensively on both console and PC and I was immediately a better player on PC. I don't think it's a coincidence every Hitman IL world record is held by someone on PC. At the highest level, PC clearly wins.

I'd say definitely give it a shot if you are interested. As a console runner myself I personally love seeing new console runners, and I'm sure others do too (Its not as big of a platform for speedrunning). While the differences between PC and console are quite large, don't be demotivated looking at these differences, simply think of it as 2 different games in a way and focus on the one you are playing when it comes to final times! As it is the mistake I made quite often. Do ask for help from others despite the platform they will very likely be able to help. :3
