Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I couldn't find anywhere better. I'm working on TASing a hack, and I can't quite figure out how to do flagpole glitch in one of the levels. I'm starting to think it might not be possible here, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas on how to do it. Here's a video showing what the end of the level looks like:
I don't think you can do FPG, but I think you can do something better. If you kick the koopa shell towards the flagpole then land on it in a specific spot, you can clip super low into the flagpole and get pushed out to the left side, saving in and round 2 seconds. That's called FFPG, or Fukk Flagpole Glitchs,. It's the same thing as BBG, excapt with a koopa shell.
Maybe the tas can do super small jump, but if not then maybe the tas will use the wall, or something
Yeah but the problem was that I would either bonk my head on the overhang or be jumping too close to the flagpole. I just gave up on it and finished the run cause I couldn't get FFPG to work either but I might come back and revisit it sometime.
