For Glitchless (No Top Grabs), how is a "Corner Boostpad" hit not categorized similarly to a Top Grab???

Straightforward title. Hitting the edge of a boost provides a height that was not originally intended by the developers, and in Vice President section, completely skips the 3rd "Checkpoint" area of the game. If we're going to disallow other momentum glitches, why is this the one momentum glitch that is allowed? It seems inconsistent.

With climbing, the developers took note of it and left it in while patching out problematic climbing sections, so I think it's much more different than something like this. Let me know what you think please but wanted to voice this as I think a lot of the run is circumvented by doing this, and I've always considered it very similar to a Top Grab AKA a major glitch.

the reason the boostpad gives more height is just because we take momentum into it, not because of the corner specifically or anything like that. bumping the stone bounces you upwards and if you hit the bounce pad right after you obviously dont just lose the momentum from the bonk. its nothing like a top grab

the only thing similar to a top grab that isnt really addressed anywhere are the red square launchers where if you grab the top ledge of the direction it sends you, the same behaviour as a normal top grab appears. its assumed that this is considered 1:1 with top grabs and therefore also not allowed

Interesting, didn't know it was based off momentum and in that case it's similar to the first pad jump in VP section & not as egregious as I thought. Tbh would be fine if both were removed but now it makes sense why it shouldn't be categorized that way, thank you!
