Hi, so I randomly stumbled on this game and discovered that it has a port for the Nintendo DS. There doesn't seem to be a lot of game differences (aside from being able to switch characters with the touchscreen, different music, etc).

Do you think DS can be added as a platform to this game, and can you change the game name to Madagascar (GBA/DS)?

I know it has been a long while but DS is finally being added to these boards.

Ds and gba version are the same game, ds juste improved cinematic (slide shows), and added 3d to the level selector, they also made marty run instead of walking, and they added extra coins and enemies to some levels, they also replaced red boat guard who were juste a recolor of the yellow one on gba and they replaced some sprites, they also removed fence that blocked the view at grand central

It makes marty faster on ds but all the other characters plays exactly the same, I managed to get to Madagascar island playing ds and gba game at the same time with only one controller

The ds game shouldn't be here since marty is faster and there's more coins to get on ds, it should have it's own page

That's why there is a subcategory splitting the categories between GBA and DS due to the differences they have for each other.

Marty can run in the GBA version too, both versions of the game have a run button. The DS run is considerably longer overall due to a mix of longer loading times and the extra levels.
