I wanted to say one thing... the new mods are going great! but it has some flaws, and one of them made me a little upset... why don't you accept runs with music but accept runs with ANY audio type? an example is the top 1 of the "key" modality! But on the other hand, you guys are doing great! congratulations! 😃👍🏿

Yeah I was confused slightly because my screen record gets messed up and doesn't record audio that well sometimes. like my wr for keys and I was afraid they wouldn't accept it but I guess they did

we accept runs with music AND with any audio type, it doesnt matter whenever the run isnt top 30; background music doesnt matter at all when is top 30, requires the in-game audio of the game, in other case is reject to be fair, not sure what is going with the new category of key% but im p sure that shouldnt be a thing oh and thanks for the compliment :D

Audio for top runs is required as an anti-cheat proof, specifically for slowing down hacks. The category is new and doesn't really require anything but luck, the runner has another run with audio, doesn't look suspicious. But the runner has been advised to include the audio next time. If there's anything suspicious with that run it will be removed.

I'm trying to be flexible with rules and not punish people who I believe aren't cheating, I don't want people to get angry and stop running the game, but maybe I'm wrong, idk :)

But let me see if I understand... I just saw a run that was performed on the 29th of this month and that had music and is in the top 4... and it was accepted. Why when I had sent them they hadn't accepted?

When you hire a bunch of people and you don't train them because the rules aren't even well defined, it's up to the moderators to decide what to do. Now, we set a rule for audio for "top 30" in any category, it's easy to understand and apply, but in reality it doesn't make any sense to apply top 30 for every category, considering if the category is more or less optimized and the number of runners.

So... it depends on which mod is looking at your run and how suspicious the run looks.

By the rules they are allowed to reject your run.

I'm gonna talk to the mods and see If I can make the rule less strict.

honestly, some moderators have seemed to to just click the verify button witjout opening any video lol
