120FPS is faster but the AI has a higher chance of fucking up. All about risk vs reward.
Maybe, in a matter of putting everyone on the same restrictions, we could restrict the FPS to a certain level (60? 120?), and players must not go over this level.
After testing, the only difference is the loading times and being able to performs some inputs a frame earlier. It's not like RE4 where you can only perform some glitches on 30FPS
so after 2 days of playing this game on 120 FPS. It basically breaks the game. The frame rate is what causes you to get stuck on corners, sheva to get stuck on corners and having to slow yourself down so she doesn't get caught in a random wall. I would happily remove my runs if we can just keep all runs at 60FPS.
it basically makes the loading times faster by a little. i'll show you how bad sheva can fuck up and how you can get caught on corners
60fps would be great too. The difference between 60 and 120fps is really small. Almost not visible. But I dunno for you but when I lock the game at 30fps it's really slow. Not just about the loading times which are normal. But the game itself, it's not like PS3 or X360, it's like the game was just slower.
If 120fps is the reason why the IA fucks up and the corners are weird, then playing at 60fps would be the best way to avoid these things and have the greatest experience in game.
Seems that 30fps on PC it's not the same as 30fps on console and it feels really sloppy and shitty in comparison (there's further technical explanation about this phenomenon if you look for info).
I think the best we can do is add a rule to play with the 60fps lock and that would be it.
yeah 60FPS max would be beneficial. slower load times but you can actually play the game properly
You can still get caught on corners. Not much difference in co-op but I think it is still better to keep it at 60 for consistency
Just thought of something: PC runners should use FPS counters. Since there's no way to know if someone is playing on unlocked or 60 fps. Auddy said he agrees.
I disagree, showing the options menu before or after the run and seeing 60fps would be better. Counters are distracting imo
