Hello TJOC Demo runners!
Hopefully everyone is enjoying the game and getting those times down. Lulu and I have had a lot of discussion about what the different categories should be. However, there are still a few things that we wouldn't mind getting some feedback on.
The main, and obvious category, involves beating the demo as quick as possible. We have just named it Any% for the time being to keep things simple, however we feel as though Any% may not be a great fit as a name. If anyone has any suggestions on what we could possibly call it instead, please let us know. An idea I had involved something including the word path, since that seems to be an important word in this demo.
We also decided on Death% being die to any animatronic as quick as possible. Would you guys rather see something like "Jumpscare%" instead, where the category is split into 4 separate categories, with the goals being to get jumpscared by each animatronic?
Any ideas welcome!
I like that last idea of being jumpscared by an individual animatronic. Also, I saw a "Markiplier%" is that beating the main demo without using the window? Lol
i have a possible interesting idea, maybe something like a punch%? where you get decked by bonnie as fast as possible, since he doesnt kill you when he punches you.
I can't seem to find a way to reply to an individual message so I'll do this instead.
To aBento_: I like the idea too, really the only reason we didn't start it as such is because we wanted to keep the boards as simple as possible for now. If there's enough interest, we'll definitely consider changing it. (and yes, Markiplier% is exactly that lmaoo)
To SprinGames: That could be an interesting idea. I'm not sure how it would fare as a main category by itself. But, if we do split Death% into a "Jumpscare%" for each animatronic, the "punch%" could be an idea for the Bonnie version.
I had a funny idea, what about "Technician%"?
All it'd be is just trying to replace each fuse in the fuse box. Like run ends once you've fixed every individual fuse at least once.
How about a BalloonBoy% (or Balloon% ?) run, where you have to burn out your flashlight as fast as possible?
Some cool ideas for sure. If anything, these would likely be Miscellaneous categories. Gives us some stuff to think about though!
