90s kid Yu Yu Hakusho fan here, didn't know this game existed. Got a Japanese PS2 already.
Well, I wanted to watch what's out there and I can't hear anything in @DBcade's submissions. How can you verify it's not spliced or otherwise cheated if you can't hear anything? I'm not accusing him in the slightest, I just think there should be minimum standards for the video. Then people are less inclined to gain an unfair advantage and, to an outsider like me, the community looks better.
I checked all my vods from this time, they all have game sound. @NewSchoolBoxer
Considering I'm one of those people that enforces those standards and leads the community I always hold myself to those same standards. The volume is a little low, so you just have to turn it up.
DM me if there is a specific vod without audio.
I put on my headphones and at max volume I can hear the game audio to a decent level. Problem solved! I cannot hear your commentary on All Tournaments and Dark Tournament but obviously there is no requirement to comment on a run. Is there on the other runs. That's pretty cool you speak English and Japanese.
You know what, I like how you make yourself available. Not always the case with moderators.
Thank you, I am not always available, but I just make sure to respond and communicate.
Just for future reference, the majority of runs I do are on Console, if that's not the case I make sure to add a note for that. In this instance I am running the actual game disc and using a PS2, with an actual PS2 controller.
As far as commentating, I try my best to, but sometimes during a 10+ hour stream its hard to keep a flow state, and sometimes I am visibly tired or focused.
I really value the Console experience. We may not have that option in a generation for SNES or working lasers on PS1/2/3. I think also helps keep a level playing field to have this footage to know when emulators are running too fast and proof of what's humanly capable.
