Just have to manually remove the load times when submitting. I would say this is probably fair for all multi-disc versions of the game.
Yeah like Jojo said, You have to let the animation from when the Wizard drops his line into the water to when the fish bites. I created a savestate after this to use in runs, and it works every time. Thanks again to Jojo to figuring this out. I am adding it to guide stuff.
Also yeah I definitely don't want to stifle anyones fun or creativity in finding stuff in Glover 2. So yeah will love to see what cool things you put together Lameshark.
I think it would be easier to talk about stuff and clear up things if we had a better place to talk. here is a discord server I made for glover 2 rta https://discord.gg/kxwehme43R
Yeah I see that Piko released some other beta later on. Which one did you use for your current run? I am playing with the 2010 Team Carrot release (which I assume is the one used in your run, Lameshark) but nothing triggers to progress the pie. I have deleted save data but Glovel wont interact, nor does anything in the world work properly. I will clarify versions better as soon as I know which ones being used thanks.
hey jojoretro,
This is all in regard to the Earlier Prototype, which I am a lot more experienced with:
I tried a couple of things out a long time ago in attempts to feel out something that resembles an "Any%" but the beta is just so fractured nothing came of it. I don't think there really is any reasonable way to add something of the sort, but you can decide for yourself and run the game however you like, but I don't think it will be something added to this board (for the time being). If people come together and decide on a reasonable and concise route for something like an Any%, then all means let it become real!
I also attempted to do something related to the secret teleport in the garden fountain that takes you to an unfinished race course of sorts, but it also just didn't have enough going on to create something tangible.
have fun
Hey Jojoretrogamer,
Yeah there is 2 Prototype roms that exist. If you cannot figure out how to fix the issues with save glitch on Prototype B, You can try running Prototype A, since they are now different categories.
Good luck on your runs.
Hi everyone, first off let me welcome everyone who has recently shown interest in this silly and fun piece of history. I first routed Pie% about 10 years ago, during the time I could spend a lot of time routing games. I created Pie% because not much else in the Beta really had a clear start and end goal in my mind. I had done runs with both Prototypes in the past, but due to the weird unstable nature with Proto (B) and how it had less to collect (skipping the treehouse melon and hub chicken egg), I just decided that runs would be done on Proto (A). Since this was just a me thing, I obviously never made this clear, since I was the only runner.
To my surprise to see that a handful of people have been interested in this, I first apologize for being absent. I don't speedrun anymore, nor have I had a lot of time in my life to check speedrun.com, so many people have been left hanging it seems.
So to cut this short, due to Lameshark's new WR using Prototype B, I have decided to split the category for both Beta Roms, so that people can have fun running whichever one that works for them. (I noticed that some people have had issues with crashes with Prototype (B)
If you have any questions you can hit me up on any of my social links and good luck on all your speedrun attempts!
Version Clarification: Prototype A - 2012 Team Carrot Release (Earlier Build) Prototype B - 2010 Team Carrot Release (Later Build)

oh does rejecting them queue them into something? Because I had rejected his run before coming here and it still shows up as the 1st place and now claims he submitted and approved his run (not a mod). Sorry I am not familiar with the system for rejection.
yeah which is why I am asking for a higher up to remove him. I am unable to remove the runs.
https://www.speedrun.com/ib the community has come to discover that we believe that Rockychan had used macros to speed through text on his runs beyond a human pace. Attempts to contact them about it have all been dead ends. So we would like to remove them from the leaderboard at this time. thanks.
you definitely are allowed to do anything you find fun. I will add stuff for the ones I missed. I never expected so many runners to pop up over the years. lol
I need to get the PC-FX added to the system list. It was the follow up to the PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-16
thanks
