Hi fellow Blitz fanatics!
My name is no_ice_5, your new moderator for this here arcade foot-ball community.
Right off the kicking tee, you'll notice some changes to the overall leaderboards and associated community. Here are a list of the changes highlighted for your convenience:
- We have officially broken out the categories of 'Win a Game' and 'Win the Super Bowl' by console / port of choice. Due to the loading times found in the PlayStation port of the game, we decided to separate the two consoles as there is a significant difference in overall timing and speed of play. Hopefully this helps make things more fair in terms of clocking runs and broadens your horizons when deciding how you'd like to run this game.
- In light of the above announcement, we have also added the Game Boy Color port to the list of available ports to run. This is a whole new beast on its own so, obviously it has warranted its own category. We're hoping to see the players explore this port as it is a gem that greatly gets overshadowed.
- We've updated the rules in both 'Win a Game' and 'Win the Super Bowl' to reflect the previous moderator's mandates. Moving forward, you will need to capture on screen that you are playing on Medium difficulty AND both the play timer and help boxes are checked "OFF". Runs will not be verified unless these three things are shown in your run.
That said, we hope you like the updates and be sure to reach out if you have any questions whatsoever. We are definitely open to suggestions to make this game even better for future runners!
Now get on the field and score some TD's!

I've been watching your runs on N64 and noticed you fly through the play screens after each down, in addition to flipping through the end of the quarters fairly quickly. For some reason, I am unable to do this. Is this just practice or is there a way to actually implement this?
