I am currently working on a FFIV Paladin run and will be running No 64 in the future. I am using the Snes9x emulator.

On the Snes you have to wait a handful of seconds in order to do a hard reset. Is there a standard amount of time I should wait, while reloading the game, to do a hard reset on an emulator?

Has anyone tried speedrunning this game on an Android Version of Snes9x EX+? I feel like the timing is a little off on things, as if the inputs to the emulator are a tad bit slower than normal. The easiest place to note this would be on the Mist Dragon fight. The audio cue for Kain Jumping after the Mist Dragon returns to normal from being mist is different for me than for everyone else that I see. Anyone else ever experience this?

I also notice that it takes me an extra 10-15 seconds to get to the overworld and controlling my character than I see from other people. I feel like my button mashing is not the issue.

I have still been able to pull a pretty decent time of 1:02:48 (unofficial) on a Paly Any% run but I am wondering if my method of playing has limited me a bit.

Any ideas of suggestions?
