Hello all! A new patch just released on Steam v1.24.5.14, and is likely to roll out to consoles within the coming week as well. It has patched quite a few bugs, some of which are used in Any%, some in other categories too.

Since console players do not have the ability to downpatch, and since this patch has impacted a fairly significant amount of bugs that are utilized, we will be splitting the Any% leaderboard into pre-v1.24.5.14, and post v1.24.5.14. This effectively creates a new leaderboard for the new version, separate to the old version.

Console players will need to play on the latest release once that release is pushed out to them, unless they avoid updating their existing copy, which is certainly a process.

Regardless, for now, we will allow runners to downpatch their game and submit downpatched runs to the existing pre-v1.24.5.14 leaderboard. We understand that this does have some disadvantages for console players, who will always need to play on latest (unless they go through quite a lot of effort not to update), but this appears to be the best way to handle the situation as of now.

Players are not by any means required to downpatch in order to run, just to run in the specific older category.
