I was on the falling platform jumped onto the 3 blocks and back onto the platform and back on the blocks. As far as i know Mario doesn't walk that slow in normal gameplay...
I've made the changes you wanted since they seem necessary. Do you think it would be a good idea to add 100% where you need to get all the shards?
You can just put a camera in front of your tv, as long as the whole screen can be seen.

The objective would be to move every sphynx in SMO. The timer starts when you hit 'Start' on a new save file and ends when you move the Sphynx in Darker Side. The Sphynx in moon has two variations, before Bowser and after, you must do both. Rules:
- 2P, Amiibo and Luigi's balloon word are not allowed
- No Sphynx clip, you must move the Sphynx

What if you triple jump right after throwing cappy, then ground pound on cappy? It could be tested in 2P. It could be possible if you land on the edge of cappy, but the centre would give more height. And after doing that it might start a ground pound jump (extra height) and then throw cappy as normal and do the same?
But then there would need to be a split, 2P and 1P. I think there is a check point (CRC?). But if you do it fast enough maybe. I'll give it a go...
In luncheon kingdom, there is a stack of 4 goombas that you can just bring over to the life-up heart. By performing a few movements to make the Goomba stack stand on the heart, you can capture then un capture them, causing a time freeze. This is where nothing moves, and you cannot do anything. This would be a softlock. You could in theory perform that with a frog in cap kingdom, which would make softlock% faster.
