To be honest, if you are looking for a free game that is short and fun with good competition, definitely There Is No Game.
if the 1.17 makes it harder for the runners, then they will just remain playing on 1.16. the mods wont separate them. the mods will, though, if the update changes the game in a more efficient way.
I just spawned in a mcc world with randomly floating blocks. Is that even supposed to happen?
@Fway, i think they mean they retimed it to 13:55.
Illumina hasn't had a wr in an up-to-date Minecraft version in so long, i'm happy to see an og runner show they've still got it. i miss the days of lackingtoast, dream, illumina, and benex. also, i know dream is no longer a speedrunner and kind of cursed, but he still was a large speedrunner.
What if it is a web game? Sorry, i have a game i am obsessed with, and would love to start speedrunning.
create a description ourselves?
I have gotten 0 fps before. It is completely momentarily, but it gets there for a second. It was just an idea. It's whatever. Just a suggestion.
Also, I am aware this sounds a little stupid, but i think this could be a fun meme category, as long as people dont find a way to get 1 millisecond to fast.
In Minecraft classic, you can change your settings to show your fps in the top left hand corner, so the category would be to try to be the fastest person to get that to show 0 fps.
Can we have a new Minecraft Classic speedrun category? I personally am hoping for a 0 fps speedrun category.
In a glitched run, if a player were to do a dupe glitch requiring them to exit the world, would the time they spend out side of the game count in the final time? Basically, is there in-game time in Minecraft Bedrock?
i spawn in a world and am able to make a nether entry out of any seed, but how on earth can i get out of the nether? i always get killed by an enderman or something. i know if i get out of the nether, i will probably finish the run. thanks
(The speedrun has not been verified yet)
Earlier today, i broke the Border% world record, and thought to myself, 'what is the fastest possible Border% speedrun?' After a bit of research, i found that the closest spawn to a border possible is 32 blocks. Then i did a running speed experiment, and found that a player runs 32 blocks in exactly 4 seconds. Another experiment and i found that running whilst spamming jump, a player saves half a second per 32 blocks. So... 3.5 seconds is the fastest possible, right? It depends. obviously, it takes time to turn and go side ways. So, a player would have to spawn facing the border they are going to try to run to. Also, i found that running downhill saves 0.1 seconds per four blocks, meaning the fastest possible Border% speedrun is 2.8 seconds. But the rarity of a player spawning on a hill that goes down one block per every one block, for 32 blocks, facing towards the border they are going to run to, and jumping up exactly when they touch the ground, is very low.
