It might have something to do with pushing the rocket out of the sandbox to get it to end early? Still not sure though

You can only find powerups in the demo that you have used in the full game. So if you get the full game and get power ups they will start appearing instead of the focus pill in the demo.

To get to full hp because there aren't any medkits to pick up while you wait there
