Since flash is gone the most reliable way to speedrun flash games is to download the .swf and play it in the standalone flash player.
What is hosted online these days are usually "Ruffle", which is a flash player which does not yet emulate flash perfectly, a lot of games will break (most will work just fine and are allowed, but ask the community first and if you see obvious ruffle related bugs then stop running it on ruffle). Or worse, the game is ported to html5 which often becomes a seperate category due to all the differences.
I recommend just finding the .swf file somewhere, but probably your run is fine.
Probably the best way to learn a new run is to start out doing IL runs.
Full game runs are so much more complicated and more stuff to remember / think about.
They also changed some more levels with random small changes, I recommend reverting your game version using https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader
I removed/archived glitchless NLL, all the runs submitted there should be available in glitchless anyways. There's also no way to speed the game up by losing lifes, in fact it makes it slower. Another reason to remove it is that occasionally when moderating people also wouldn't upload to both despite fitting both categories, which either means inaccurate leaderboards or some minor moderator work.
If someone is has concerns or even any reason (even minor) why they don't like this please tell me, and i'm sorry.
Look up if you can install the adobe flash standalone player, then download the .swf file from here. I started speedrunning this game on linux with no issues performing the bug, should be the same I think. Also chromebooks absolutely suck as a product but that's besides the point.
Alternatively, play the glitchless category, I think it's more challenging and less stupid

I remember trading the record multiple times and also remember making improvements over time, the stats graph just doesn't show this. I hope this type of history isn't lost forever... On the old site it used to work properly IIRC.
The site is literally unusable with 50% of features being buggy and Merl_ thinks it's an improvement. How about you test your updates before you publish them? Literally 5 minutes of browsing around will tell you that this new site is worse. The history is nice but everything else is just bad.
Even if the obvious bugs are fixed the site as a whole runs slower.

Another issue found, tables formatted in the forums don't show at all. Screw me I guess for trying to keep all the information on the same page
If you go to peoples profiles you can't see when they last logged in. I think this is important to see if moderators are just ignoring your submitted runs or they just not log in.
Also a glaring issue is that old tables in the forums don't show up at all.
You need to press the tab key until its hovering over the upgrade, then press enter. You can buy even if you lack the money for the upgrade. Doesn't work on the ruffle flash player.
right click with the tower selected and hovering over somewhere placeable. Then input two left clicks at the same time (done with windows mouse key 5) on the adobe flash player or simply left click on NK archives player to place it.
I've got a strat in 3-4 where i go off screen, is it ok if I resize the screen so I can see the ball better?
There's no rule against it here but I know it's a rule in redball and it makes sense to some extent (not all flash players even allow resizing, and the game is clearly not meant to be resized like that). Anyways since there's no rule against it i'll go for it for now (and also cause it's cool o.o), but it should be clarified somewhere in the game rules if allowed or not.
This can't be version 4.8+ right? Since the major glitch is in to collect all the coins.
Since that glitch is allowed i think this record could be done a lot faster. Good run though.
Mainly the point of this is just to get fair competition at the highest level, and also stop me from being paranoid that my computer has gotten slower ;)
