There's also a thing called C19 going around which has more people at home, not sure if you'd heard about this or not.
in short: normally we like to keep 1-2 weeks. This entire year basically has not been normal, so indeed, it will be longer.
(Probably) not a bot, noted, hi why all the mass-liking it's spammy and you should stop, and handled. In that order.
Verifying your account via your email is simply registering it. You need to enable 2FA, which will cause you to be emailed a PIN and have to put that PIN in in order to log in. Can find this under Settings, the slider checkbox "Require e-mail authentication when logging in".
I would also recommend adding a few social media contacts to your profile as well, in order to be able to be contacted off-site should you go inactive.
@Spaghetti8 - Please add another contact method to your profile and re-request.
@holipigicowi - Handled (pulled the previous moderator to normal mod in case they do return; they're only inactive a month. If they remain inactive...)
@ajanofu1 - Declined, please read the first post.
Rypietrowski - "... since [user] does not want to do anything now though..."
This is perfectly fine. I'd rather nothing change and the community take that time to come to a consensus than for changes to happen only to be undone. Better to get it right later than wrong now.
(edited to fix typo)
There are some disagreements and debates regarding the platforms for this game and how they are sorted and categorized. It would be ideal to get this sorted in order to avoid future drama. I have encouraged all relevant parties to participate via the various discords.
As a reminder: be respectful and civil towards others, agree or disagree.
This thread was dead. It became a zombie. I killed it for good this time.
As to the thread's topic, it has been explained in full. Let it be.
@PlayingWithDick - Am fine doing this (got no response on Twitter), but we would certainly appreciate you changing your name to something more appropriate, first.
@Gutosur - Moderator highly inactive, contacts not active, run pending (plus run on boards already too, nice to boot). Very happy to handle.
@DBcade - We aren't going to add you as a series moderator. It's not necessary. Request games as @Daravae said; if you're worried about us rejecting them due to a series moderator, mention that in your additional notes you've tried to go through the moderator but were unable to.
@phillip1872r - Declined, user is not inactive.
@Jesus82050615 - Handled.
@PlayingWithDick - Aside from being uncomfortable with your name... I tweeted at the more recently active moderator as their twitter is decently active. Will see if they respond.
Locked this since it's very obvious what this is referring to. If you have feedback or a suggestion, there is a dedicated thread stickied for it. This one, however, will not be considered. Niche and unnecessary.
Because if someone goes inactive on sr.c and moderates a game (which, yes, happens when we accept a game request; the user requesting becomes moderator), we want to have some way to contact them off-site. YT is incredibly unreliable for doing so (especially if comments are disabled on a user's videos, but even if not still not very reliable), especially when your YT linked doesn't even work (404 Not Found).
Make a discord, make a twitter, make a twitch; there are many options out there which are decent. As things stand now you have zero working contacts.
