It is pretty safe to link the official discord as the speedrunning discord for everything scriptwelder made bc we have an open forum thread in there and if we will start actively talking there scriptwelder might give us a proper channel.
Well I do believe we have more in common with an RTS speedrunner than with an average Assemble fan. In any case for the time being you can use the RTS server other-rts channel like I always did.
Also In case of an IL run that is not a part of a full run We do need to see the main menu for the version and the autosave to know the difficulty but do we need to see the whole army's upgrades before the run? I'd say yes but what do you think?
I'm a big fan of this game and I've played the original in my childhood a lot. When making the wiki I've been documenting all that could potentially help the speedrunning. I'd have requested the speedruncom page a while ago but i was not sure anyone would be running. Now it is clear that I was wrong and I hope I'm not too late.
Suggestion 3: I'm still ready to be a mod and I can help to implement both previous suggestions and maintain the IL boards. I've been a speedrunner for years and I know too much about this game.
Suggestion 1: Individual Level (Mission) Leaderboards for every Rabbit/Pig mission/tutorial. It's a common practice which is good for many reasons. I will try to make saves for Resources later.
Suggestion 2: Let's use the Real Time Strategy Speedrunning Discord (https://discord.gg/XQ7gpXdBET) for communication, sharing strategies, discussing rules etc. It's been used by many communities like StarCraft and Age of Empires for years. The server is run by competent people who will take care of all Discord moderation. Also they will give us a channel specifically for SWINE.

So should i ask the welder's discord for a channel
For deep sleep/dont escape/400 years/etc. It'd make communication, sharing strats (and pictures) much more convenient. It might not generate more activity right away but it won't be a bad decision in the long run.
https://discord.gg/urMx6M3 or maybe we should ask for channel(s) in welder's discord
So it's no secret de3 is no de2 and not every de3 achievement makes a great standalone run. Spaced is sub second long, Escape Pod is already any%, Lost in Space is Decontamination 2 etc
The Truth doesn't require you to mix anything or washing the meth room. Lacking 1 digit for password is mostly fine and you get a try for free.
So as it turns out, space suit can be used to skip repairing the fans. And if you blow up the lab there's a yes/no popup screen to use escape pod even if you haven't unlocked its door. Also after you reenter the game you get moved to what is mostly the previous room. Blowing up the lab+escaping at the bedroom places you 2 screens behind so it's optimal for 100%.
Lost in Space is core of 100% with no extra endings
Suggestion: All Endings category where you get all 7 endings from Blood Bath to Calm Night.
This is the "gameplay-wise 100%" of this game exploring all bad endings and the flexibility of routing (pretty much everything except for root potion/plank'd door which may deserve their own meme category%).

Good job. Please don't forget the other three Don't Escape games.
bc they're vertical now since the last SRC update. Cheers.
- You are forgetting that most people have only 1 account with all campaigns and that at least 1 server was spent on normal playthrough leaving them 2-0 remaining attempts at this madness that can easily take more than 24 hours.
- We dont have all campaigns categories for a reason. Its certainly a feat of strength but is there a category for dark souls trilogy no hit runs? No. Its unreasonable to expect anyone to run it this way.
- The idea of campaigns beaten in a way different from any% is certainly worth it but you're taking it too far by forcing people to spend an entire day of their life to do every single thing in 1 go.
The concept of a single run for 100% Achievements for all 4 campaigns is needlessly user/verifier unfriendly and paywalled for an actual category. It should be split into 4 categories for each individual campaign at the very least. Also consider the fact that separate WoL 100% Achievements costs no real currency to run.
well unpaid demo of wol was 3 mar sara missions and evacuation/smash&grab 5 in total mb thats better
What about a new category where you kill each individual enemy/npc (if they respawn killing them a second time is not required). This also would require a mod counting the completion i suppose cuz theres too much targets to keep track of. Inspired by hollow knight's grass% speedrun goal of which is to destroy each grass object in the game at least once while a mod keeps track of your progress. What do you think of the idea of having anything like that?
You have to use registry editor for this. If you're using Windows: Win+R Input the word "regedit" and press OK In the registry editor find this: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Oneshot There will be 3 values and one of them is "ending", change it to 0 And presto, it is done.
There are no guides mainly because strats are not refined enough to the point when they cannot be improved (Remastered also patched many overused exploits like morphing mutas from zerglings etc).
If you want some help you better ask for it at RTS Speedrunning Discord where all active speedrunning legends are hanging out: https://discord.gg/zVXr9UKKBp
Speedrun.com doesn't support speedruns of several games in succession and Don't Escape Trilogy page if ever made will create too many complications you might be unaware of so I highly doubt that it can be a thing.
Although, nothing stops you from making this type of run for a stream/video. Trilogy/Anthology Run will have a great entertaining value and if you will manage to get a WR on any individual game it would be even better.
