Is there a way to make IGT the only timing method without having real time visible at all?

I have been wondering about this for a while. Most runs are 30fps on YouTube, but some are below that. Recently I got a run at 15fps, and was wondering at what point does it become a problem with low fps for moderators to accept the run.
Could someone make a guide? I have no idea how to do a few of these endings.
When I click on a link to an external site from a users profile, I get a message telling me that I am leaving speedrun.com. Is this part of a new update coming soon?
