So you linked the video that showed exactly what you were looking for and then you decided to say it's fake because you said so.....
There's just no point in arguing (or talking) with you about anything because you will just say something and then proceed like it's the truth known for decades (even if you're wrong in what you're saying). At this point a lot of people will conclude that you got a bit too used to being a mod on the boards and are now mad/jealous/something for being removed and are unable to get over it.
Clearly we should all just praise you like some kind of a god (please don't this was sarcasm).
You do you I suppose I'm leaving this hellhole because no matter how much proof will be shown to you, you will just refute it because you said so.
they are still here and still proof you cheating and lying!
So I guess I am a cheater now as well huh? Sure buddy
- Nasuper, you should really stop brigading people in to help you. Especially ones that don't know (or care) about payday 2
- You should also stop spamming us with your submissions. It's been over a week and you're still doing this
- I agree with Act. This thread should've been locked 3 pages ago before it had gone off the rails
But what the heck do I know, you'll just choose to ignore me like you did with others and will just try to drive your point home even though that car has already crashed and burnt to the ground
for entertainment arustik! we wait for a reaction from starsmiley and meta! why they are hiding the evidence?
No need to wait as MyTH said. Besides they already saw enough evidence to agree that pizza did not cheat.
I think you should stop and delete this post before we're past the point of no return and the main parties just start melting down. Oh wait, we're way past that point....
So much as setting up a VM (Virtual Machine) with real shitty specs would produce comparable results to irokwe's test (Maybe not as extreme, but it would drive the point home) but I guess it's more convenient to keep this thread going and keep making yourself the victim (In addition to spamming the payday 2 boards but that's besides the point). You do you I guess.
You know, I would say you should host a payday 2 on a very old hardware yourself (Like irokwe did by limiting his CPU to just 1 core at 800MHz), have someone join and do the test yourself. Buuuuuuut you probably will not listen to this and will prefer to keep going with these drunken ramblings (That's how I see it, Sorry)
Anyway, have a nice day and thanks for entertaining us. Unfortunately, I ran out of snacks. Oh well. :sadge:
What sparked my curiosity was the 4 pages of responses on this thread. I didn't expect I'd be clicking into some guy's personal vendetta..... Yet, here I am. Oh well ;-;
Also, I love that we just sent 10 years of documented Payday 2 desync down the crapper....
Thing with mods is that you can hide literally anything in them. Especially since modding is apparently incredibly easy compared to payday 2. I think requiring people to run vanilla experience for speedruns is a good idea. Keep in mind that not everyone will know how to mod payday 3 and there are/will be mods that give advantage to people that do know (Like InfoHUDs for example) EDIT: Also, keep in mind that console players will have a harder time/not be able to mod the game.
ra_the_sun_dude: it would be interesting if that timer issue is not present on consoles. Unfortunately I don't know anyone that has Payday 3 on console so I wasn't able to check that with them
LadyLoranda: Yes, we would most likely have to use an external timer to correctly time these runs until Starbreeze patches this out. Unless there will be a solution stated in the run rules
Heyo everyone! Did you guys notice that the final time varies between your speedrun atempts even though you're not slower but maybe in some cases faster than before? Well, if you think there's a problem with the in-heist timer, you're correct. The in-heist timer starts with a different value after each restart meaning that getting a good run after practice will require you to roll RNG for the lowest possible starting timer (Which seems to be 00:01, and never 00:00). This has been observed by me and Haracookie while running the game.
If you don't believe us, here is the proof:
I would also encourage to brainstorm possible solutions here to help payday 3 speedrun board think of a possible workaround.
