Played on May 6th using AmigaLive (FS-UAE).

As I got the 20:05 the previous day, I decided to try for the sub 20 but kept having awful RNG with everything. Finally got on this run with the CPU cars constantly finishing the races fast... up until the last race. Last minute of this run was very, very scary looking at that timer run and my position getting better and better. In the end the lead I had built still held up and managed to barely get the sub 20.

Arran's run was very helpful to build on but I made a few tweaks to the tactics.

I think you should deliberately die from the first jump in the second stage if you start from the last spot. This will spawn you ahead of all the other cars who crash there. If you go for the jumps and fail, you will be spawned last.

I think you really need to go for the nitro in the fifth track and try to finish it first. Computers finishing it will generally be too slow.

In tracks 4, 6 and 7 I think the best result is getting 2nd for the money and back-up while having the 1st CPU car finish the race quickly. That's why I don't try to destroy the faster cars as they are usually the ones in the lead.

If you start tapping at the right time after the race you can skip directly to the shop screen and save multiple seconds throughout the run. Sadly I didn't manage to do it here. Also, in the garage screen I think the fastest option is to tap both fire and down quickly if you have lots to repair.

Otherwise happy with my tactics and the RNG, I don't think I could do much better. Obviously with better luck you could finish the last track much faster but I got very lucky in all the tracks before so I think it's still a good time!
