(Updated) Emulator Autosplitter and Load Remover

Up to date version of the Autosplitter and Load Remover for this game. This Autosplitter supports both NTSC-U and PAL and will recognise the region you are playing on the fly. You can also use it for IL runs - it supports splitting as specified in the Official IL Leaderboard spreadsheet and load removal equal to the Practice ROM's IGT.

An alternative experimental version of the Autosplitter is also available (only supports NTSC-U) which load standardises to FDS timings. Currently this only supports level and balloon loads and therefore is not useful for categories like Any%/120% where there are many dragons but it will retime dragon-less categories to FDS properly.

Steps to set up the Autosplitter:

  • Click "Download ZIP" and extract the .asl file.
  • In Livesplit, right click > Edit Layout > + > Control > Scriptable Auto Splitter.
  • Double Click "Scriptable Auto Splitter", click "Browse" and select your extracted .asl file.

Note: When running on Duckstation, the Autosplitter will only work if Duckstation is opened before Livesplit!

Note 2: RAM changes don't always align with visual cues, plus Livesplit's autosplitting script is unable to run at a consistent framerate (technical limitation) hence your final time will not be perfect on the frame. You will still have to frame time your final RTA.
