Greetings, non-fellow humans. I am a new speedrunner, and I am wondering if it is legal to use CRC (Cappy Return Cancel) in a standard Mario Odyssey speedrun. I have reviewed the rules and found no prohibitions against its use. However, I am confident that there are more experienced runners who can definitively answer this question. I would greatly appreciate any advice from the community. Thank you.

is not allowed in 1p cause CRCing by definition requires going into 2p , which is the one thing that 1p bans lol

There is nothing disallowing CRCs. They are only possible in 2 player mode, and there has yet to be a traditional CRC discovered that would save time. ICRCs are used heavily in BTT and in a couple cases in RTA.
