I'm no genius on this run, but I'm pretty sure grabbing the leaf there would be slower compared to where it's actually grabbed in the run. Getting the leaf there also requires you to grab the mushroom first so getting both powerups causes you to slow down a lot.
if I decided not to do it so fast and take time to have the power ups and not complicate when entering the first castle having to go to the next page (I tried) my problem is that I always fall or get hit by the dr bone that I had not seen so I decided to take that sheet I'm not a professional either, this would be my first run
