Perhaps change a setting to where your runs with Shovel Knight don't obsolete your Plague Knight runs? Right now, the 3 Plague runs are hidden unless you specifically change the drop down.

How does that obsolete them? The drop down menu is there to separate runs for the characters?

Well, this is the reason why variables exist. Take a look at http://www.speedrun.com/crashbash If there was a category for each of the 8 characters, it would be madness (yes the characters make slight differences).
