Yesterday during 0hris' stream, OrangenSaft suggested running the game at different resolutions. I today tried this, running on the current speedrun route, (though not perfectly as I'm certainly not the best at it) , at three different resoultions that my main monitor supports. I used 1600x900, its native resolution, 1366x786, and 1280x720. On 1600x900 I got 1:30.79 on stage 1. With 1366x786 I got a 1:27.46, along with 1366x786 I also found it easier to focus on the platforms I was jumping onto and from. On 1280x720 I got a time of 1:27.67 on stage 1. It was also easier to focus for me on 1280x720. AS I said before, I did NOT execute the current speedrun route perfectly, but I did it to the best of my ability on each run which was extremely similar. It might just be me but I believe for me, I can get lower times with lower resolutions. If you want test this yourself and leave what you find in this thread, go ahead and do so. I really wonder if this is a way to save time or not for all runners.
