Hello guys ! :) Forgive I but if I can allow myself games and so taken out on XBOX 360 and DS. Furthermore I think that you can put in consoles also Wii U because this console can read the games Wii, games and so taken out on the eShop of Wii U :) http://www.jeuxvideo.com/jeux/jeu-64553/ Good day and good one run! :D
Well we could add a ds and gba category but the thing is, if nobody is going to run it why add it? So I myself see no point in adding it. But if anyone would do a run then I think we should add that :D . And about the xbox 360 version, you can play that one instead of the pc, ps2 or wii version, it's your decision (even though pc is obviously faster). Oh and we probably would never add categories seperately for every version, for example there won't be a category for pc and ps2 since they're pretty much both the same version but for different consoles.
Well, DS & GBA should have another leaderboards since the games are entirely different. Wii/PS2/PC/X360 are the same, the only difference should be the loading times (being PC ridiculously fast). It should be a good idea to add Xbox 360 & Wii U (using a Wii disc) as platforms since my Wii runs has been done on a Wii U using the retail disc, but somebody need to test the eShop version of the game (considered as Wii U VC)
The reason why I said that about eShop version is because in 2011 Ubisoft released "Raving Rabbids Party Collection" which includes RRR 1, 2 & TV Party, and with RRR1 there was a change in musical minigames, removing "Hip Hop Horray" and putting instead "La Bamba" (forcing you to play the song 4 times in the game), which is curious because if we go for a 100% route we can hear HHH when the unlocking screen appears in the game, but in the jail jukebox the song never appears, making that the Party Collection version good for Any% (if you don't go for the musical minigames) but unfair for 100%, and I have a doubt about if the eShop version is the first retail edition of the game or is the modified Party Collection version. If I got some money next month I'm gonna buy the eShop version for testing purposes
Also, another good idea should be to have a leaderboard for PC and a second one for consoles, or well, make the runs loadless in order to make them ore fair to run, but since not so many people run this game I don't think that mods will do this kind of stuff here. PC is faster to run but it's a bit boring since the way you play the minigames is weird and doesn't have so much sense, PS2/X360 are controller killers and Wii version was the only intended version for the game (since here the minigames has a kind of sense with the motion gaming of the platform).
For now I just have played the PS2, Wii & PC version since 2008, being PC the one with more faster loading times and PS2 slightly slower than Wii, haven't tested the 360 version since I don't own the console
Yeah. As you said and what I've said, it's probably A. not gonna happen that the mods are gonna add multiple categories for the leaderboard (trust me I know cause RRR is the biggest meme in the rayman speedrunning discord) and B. I dont really see the reason why we would wanna add more categories like I get that people wanna maybe run ds or gba but I'm than just like well do a run and than we can add it, like in my opinion there is no use for there being an empty category..
Recently, there was interest expressed in having individual minigames be represented on the individual level boards, and after the community talked a bit and learning of the power of Score Mode (which makes things a bit easier), it has been decided to go through with it! This is the result of two da
