**How can I change my FPS?**

Roblox has a system that allows you to select the FPS rate you're playing at. Within any experience, you can access this option through the **Menu > Settings**, where you'll be able to adjust and modify the FPS rate you're using in real time.

**How can I check my FPS?**

OKR automatically displays your FPS, but in case this doesn’t appear, you can use the alternative method by pressing **Shift + F5**. It’s not recommended to install third-party programs to monitor your FPS during gameplay, as they may slightly affect your performance.

**How can I be sure which FPS subcategory to choose?**

You can select any of these subcategories using the Roblox FPS settings for your specific run. It’s important to note that if you choose an FPS rate and it fluctuates slightly above or below the set value, you should still stick with the FPS rate you originally selected.

Example 1: If you set your FPS to 120 and it changes to 119, 121, or 122, that’s fine, but you must choose the 120 FPS subcategory.

Example 2: If you set the highest FPS rate allowed by your Roblox Player, such as 240 FPS, but your FPS fluctuates around 170–180, you should still select the 240 FPS subcategory, as the experience itself may cause these variations.

**For Android/iOS players:**


Mobile players cannot view or adjust their FPS directly. As such, they are required to select "Undefined" as their category. Alternatively, they can estimate their FPS based on the performance of their mobile device—higher-end devices typically operate at higher FPS rates. However, if the approximation is unclear or inaccurate, it is recommended to choose "Undefined."

**Undefined Category Explained in Detail**:

- **Unspecified FPS**: If players submit a run without showing their FPS, it will not be rejected and will be classified under the "Undefined" category.
- **Privacy of FPS**: If a player prefers to keep their FPS private, this is valid, and their run will be placed in the "Undefined" category.
- **FPS Above 240**: If a player is using FPS higher than the available subcategories (e.g., 300 FPS, 500 FPS, 1000 FPS), their run will be categorized as "Undefined."
- **Forgotten FPS Selection**: If a player forgets the FPS rate they selected in Roblox and doesn't want to risk confusion by choosing the wrong subcategory, their run will go into the "Undefined" category.
- **Bug**: If a player experiences an unexpected issue with their FPS during the execution of their run, it will be categorized under "Undefined.

**Is glitching the same as hacking?**

**Is glitching the same as cheating?**

Using a glitch can sometimes be considered cheating, but it depends on how the glitch is used and the **game's rules:**

1. Unintentional Advantage: If a player uses a glitch to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., skipping levels, avoiding challenges, or gaining points unfairly), it can be considered cheating.
2. Harmless or Fun Glitches: Some glitches are more about fun and don’t necessarily give a competitive edge. In some games or communities, players may use glitches without consequences if it doesn’t negatively impact others.

**Is glitching the same as exploiting?**

Exploiting is a broader term that includes glitching but also refers to intentionally taking advantage of any flaw or weakness in the game, which might include exploiting bugs or glitches. Exploiting can be more systematic and often involves a deeper understanding of the game's mechanics or vulnerabilities.

- The video can be of any quality (above 480p is recommended).
- The recommended format for videos is MP4, as it ensures compatibility across most devices and platforms.
- The video can be recorded in any resolution. However, if anything suspicious is noticed during the run, an additional verification may be required.
- Videos with watermarks are allowed, provided that the watermark does not obstruct any essential information required to verify the run, such as the timer, player movements, or critical game elements. Ensure that all aspects of the video are clearly visible and meet the verification standards. Runs with obstructed or unclear footage may be rejected.
- Music is acceptable (however, the copyright responsibility is yours, and any issues with the platform hosting the video may affect the submission)
- In case you have recorded the run in a call with people, it is recommended to mute the recording to protect the privacy of the people, or otherwise ask for consent for their voices to be uploaded to the site.
- The video must be shown without clipping on the screen.
- Loud sounds are not permitted. This includes sounds that may be disruptive, with a maximum limit of 85 decibels (dB), which is the typical upper limit of sound levels that most computers can produce. Please ensure that any audio in the submission remains within this threshold to avoid any distractions during the review process.
- You can use a clip from Twitch, Metal TV, or any other streaming platform.

**What is not allowed in the videos?**

Any form of offensive or explicit content, including gore, inappropriate audio, or anything that violates legal or moral standards.

Videos that incite violence, illegal activities, or discrimination of any kind.

Content that violates privacy or includes unauthorized use of personal data or imagery.

*In general, it is recommended to submit URLs from YouTube, as it is the most widely known and user-friendly video-sharing platform. YouTube has established rules and policies that regulate the content uploaded to its platform, aiming to ensure that inappropriate material, such as explicit or illegal content, is flagged or removed. However, despite YouTube’s automated systems and moderation efforts, there is still a possibility that certain videos violating their policies may slip through undetected. This means that a video could technically be allowed on YouTube but still contain content that breaches our guidelines for speedrun submissions. Therefore, even if a video is publicly accessible on YouTube, it must still comply with the rules set out for OKR submissions.*
