Here it is, the world's first sub-11 train. Not only that, this time ties the TAS.
To not die to the spikes, you have to set your window size to 829x651 pixels, and do a sequence of 13 frame perfect inputs. Then, to finish the level, you have to do 10 more frame perfects, for a total of 23, the highest FP count in any Red Ball 1 IL (as of now).
I found this setup the day after I originally got my 11.000 train. I had had my eyes on this time ever since, but never actually learned it. Then, a certain other player who I will not name started learning the setup, and I knew I had to act fast. I was going on a trip the day after, so I knew that realistically I would not win that race. But no matter, I sat down to do a session of IGT attempts.
And amazingly, I got it. My muscle memory from a month ago stayed strong, and I was over 1 in 40 with getting out of the tunnel. Even so, I still expected it to take several days and thousands upon thousands of attempts, with many unfortunate fails to the final frame perfects. But somehow, I did not die at ALL past the 19th frame perfect, and I got what is arguably the hardest Red Ball 1 IL in just 683 attempts. I was completely not expecting this insane luck, but I'll definitely take it. And pretend it's just my raw skill.
