Beat the level No NG+ playthroughs of levels
100% Beat the level Collect all yellow lums & cages (my reasoning for cages is that the portal in hall of doors turns red when a level is 100% complete, so this would make sense) I know they're not essential for an any% run but they are for a 100% run so it's consistent
As for timing, there's a few ways it could be done. Perhaps one is, as soon as Rayman jumps into the hall of doors portal that takes him into the level, the timer begins as this will be easier to framecount than when exactly the screen goes black. Also, being in the hall of doors beforehand in the footage will prove that the run isn't being done NG+, which removes any potential suspicion (I know it would be obvious to tell from the run but this makes it easier)
The timer ending as the portal loading screen appears is how I currently split my runs and I do this solely for the simplicity and easiness of doing so - it might not make sense in the context of IL runs, but definitely would be easier to framecount than exactly when the screen goes black, even if slightly arbitrary. This part I feel is in most need of discussion
As for the Clearing - I think start timer at selecting new game is a good option, as it includes the slide and is what is done in full game runs.
Yeah thats what I meant for timer starting, as soon as X is pressed to jump into the portal the timer begins
For timer ending when screen goes black, if that’s the best way then that’s what we’ll use, but tbh I’d prefer the level going silent idea cause it’s so much easier to do manually, and on console (which is where runs should PREFERABLY be done) it would be consistent.
