Timing starts on the first frame you gain control (when the loading screen fades in) and time ends on the first frame when the progress bar is 100%
The timing rules have changed. The community decided that they would prefer to have time start on the first frame where you can see the level in the transition fade from the loading screen to the level.
Timing runs must use this method from this point on, its too much work to go back and retime every run by 0.2 seconds or so. If World records are EXTREMELY close to the point where this retime change would have an effect contact me on Speedrun.com or Discord at 'Taco Pinky#6227'
