Not sure if this works on PC or if it's even widely known knowledge but at least on the Xbox version you can become immortal as soon as you hit amun mines. Anybody know it existed? Once you get the grenades you can rush an exit, stop just before the camel and kill yourself and push backwards with the explosion which will still trigger the end level text, every level thereafter enemies will consider you as non existent iirc and you can take infinite damage so long as you don't touch health globes

Only posting/mentioning as I happened to finally get around to watching sgdq 2022 and saw kaoswulf's run and it seems like alot of time is lost routing to ankhs and safety hp

Just went and tested it since the games been patched at least once since then, seems like they fixed it. Can't interact with pickups anymore or the camel when you die
