How to bake a cake.

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F and grease the pan.

Step 2. Mix the butter, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.

Step 3. Combine the dry and mixed wet ingredients.

Step 4. Pour in 1⁄2 c (120 mL) of milk.

Step 5. Transfer the batter to the cake pan.

Step 6. Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes.

Step 7. Cool the cake for 1 hour.
